Veterinarian Training

Romania Animal Rescue, Inc. sends veterinarians to Romania to train local veterinarians in modern spay/neuter procedures makes our charity unique to others. RAR's vet training program is the one thing that makes our charity unique to others, and is very well received in Romania. We have a waiting list of charities that want us to send vets to train their vets! We need only the cost of the supplies for our vets, as generous support of frequent flyer miles have allowed RAR to send the US vets to Romania at no cost, and the veterinarians and friends in Romania have offered accommodations for the US vets while they are in Romania. Each training program costs $6000 in supplies.

Compassion Is Cool

RAR is embarking on a training program in Romanian schools to show the school children how to care for the animals around them. PETA has donated 50 educational packages, each to be used in a classroom (50 classrooms!), to teach young students about animals. We have also received 1000 educational books that have been donated by Marchig Animal Welfare Trust to get us going on this new campaign! Thank you, PETA and Marchig Animal Welfare Trust, for helping us educate the people of Romania.

Mobile Clinic

We have recently purchased a caravan in Romania to reach towns that do not yet have the necessary equipment to perform modern spay/neuter procedures.
